Sniffles and Friends would like to give a big thank you to everyone who came out to join us for our First Annual Super Duper Sniff-a-thon Spectacular! We had a great time with lots of furry friends, as well as human. We enjoyed food, drinks, great conversation, and an all-around great atmosphere at Burholme park.
We even had a Howl-o-ween costume contest for the pooches, oh and let's not forget our one feline visitor. They came dressed to impress, and we had a tough time picking winners, so we made sure there were lots of them.
You can view and purchase pictures of the Sniff-a-thon taken by Pet Imagery .
Now, if I could have a drum roll please...CONGRATULATIONS to the following winners...
For the cutest costume in 3rd place was Wrigley the Bears fan. Wrigley was sporting a Bears jersey with honor! In 2nd place was another set of sports fans, Rocky and Spike sporting their Eagles jerseys. And coming in at 1st place was Kaylee who thought there was "no place like home" in her Dorothy costume.
For the funniest costume in 3rd place was Luke who brought a little religion to our event when he came dressed as a Rabbi. Following closely behind him was our 2nd place winner, and our only feline guest, Shimson the Sushi chef! And finally our creepy, crawly 1st place winner was Bruiser the spider dog!
For the most original costume in 3rd place was Kloee who came to the party dressed like a zebra from head to tail! In 2nd place was our ready-for-anything adventure dog Sammy, who arrived in this season's trendiest adventure clothing. And rushing in to save the day in a full set of Doctor's scrubs was our 1st place winner Sadie!
All of our winners received a special doggy bag gift from Sniffles and Friends (or a kitty bag gift, in Shimson's case). We would like to applaud everyone for coming out and participating in our event. And a special thanks to all of the pet parents for your involvement and making those critters look so darn cute! Keep your eyes to The Scoop for upcoming events like this one. We hope to see you all in the future.
Have a safe and happy Halloween, and please feel free to send in your cute pics of your furkids in their snazzy outfits so we can add them to the gallery page. Happy Hauntings!
