Christine: After Hours Assistant
Christine Risley: Originally from Germany, Christine has a BA in Political Science with minors in German and Theatre. She now lives in South Philadelphia with her own
mini-zoo of dogs and cats that she has rescued since she started volunteering and doing rescue work in the Philadelphia area about 10 years ago. Her pitbull Suzie (aka
Thunderball) is the sweetest, biggest love muffin on four legs and she has a boy toy doxie mix named George. Kitties include, but are not limited to, Arthur, Bingley, Elton,
Jasper and Ilsa She-Wolf. Christine volunteers at ACCT and the SPCA and is also partnered with three fabulous rescuers who together have formed The Rescue
Express, which concentrates on saving dogs from high-kill shelters in the southern states and bringing them up North to wonderful, forever homes. Christine enjoys
travel, film, running, languages, soccer and all things animal related. She absolutely will treat your pets as her own and she looks forward to taking extra special care of
them.
